BIOG

Born in Norfolk, John only really started taking photographs to chart
the size of the fish he caught in the River Waveney. As John grew, the fish got (slightly) bigger and the cameras followed suit. Finally admitting that photography was a hobby that had got out of hand, John left his day job – as a secondary school biology teacher – in the summer of 2005 and has never looked back. He specialises in natural light portraits, spends most Saturdays capturing weddings and frequently works commercially. (His client list includes British Energy, The Department of Health, The National Trust, Historic Royal Palaces, Renegade Pictures for Channel 4, and The Centre for
Social Justice). He also teaches photography for the Oxford School
of Photography.
